Our story
I have always been an avid journaler. I began when I was around 12, often starting with “Dear Jesus”, “Goals”, or “Reflection”. As I continued my journaling through my teenage years and early twenties, my entrees became more and more creative. I invented different exercises and fun drawings to go along with my thoughts and emotions, often breaking out my markers or colored pencils. I found that after a ‘journaling session’ I had a better understanding of myself and a stronger relationship with God. When I became pregnant with my first son, Dominic, I took to journaling in order to work through my feelings in my new role as a mother. Reflecting on my pregnancy I realized how impactful journaling was on my relationship with my son, husband, and God.
When a friend of mine became pregnant I shared with her my experience with journaling through pregnancy and I bought a blank journal and filled it with the very same prompts and exercises I found so helpful throughout my journey. The excitement of being able to help someone through this incredible stage of life inspired me to try and help more.
Throughout designing my first journal specifically geared towards pregnant mothers, I have been overwhelmed with the calling to do more. I aim to bring more prompted journals to the market and hope that these journals prove helpful to those they reach.
